Good News
The gas mains replacement work has been completed (early) and the roads and bus station will be back to normal on 2nd October. It's been a tough summer for all but hopefully lessons have been learned and better planning will be in place next time.

Police Budget
It is with great concern that we learn that the police budget is to be cut by 25%. Long gone are the days when we had two dedicated bobbies to the Warwick town centre beat and the future looks bleak. 30% of our business rates go to the Police! Let us know what you think - we are making representations to the governnment and your comments do matter.

Warwick Fire Station
Warwick Fire Station Will Close
You will be aware that Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service have a cost-cutting proposal to close Warwick Fire Station and we now learn that the one station closest to the M40 and A46 bypass will be closed. When there is so much wastage in other areas it shows a distinct lack of imagination to axe a life-saving service.
