It is with great concern that we learn that the police budget is to be cut by 25%. Long gone are the days when we had two dedicated bobbies to the Warwick town centre beat and the future looks bleak. 30% of our business rates go to the Police! Warwick Fire Station Will Close
You will be aware that Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service have a cost-cutting proposal to close Warwick Fire Station and we now learn that the one station closest to the M40 and A46 bypass will be closed. When there is so much wastage in other areas it shows a distinct lack of imagination to axe a life-saving service.
