The concert is in aid of Myton Hospice and features top professional brass, sax and flute players in beautiful thought-provoking music interjected with plenty of light for a programme that aims to send the audience away well and truly uplifted.

The concert will feature the Kingma bass flute that was gifted to me by a dear friend in the last weeks of his life in two haunting arrangements combining electroacoustics, atmospheric lighting and visual projections. This, combined with wicked brass group arrangements in a line-up of top musicians and the whole array of flutes from bass to piccolo, joining forces for Quincy Jones's Soul Bossa Nova (aka Austin Powers theme).  Plenty to love for a wide ranging audience.
