Summer at Warwick Castle
Take an amazing journey back in time; discover jousting, heroes and horror!
Hear the thunder of hooves and the crack of lances splintering as back in the saddle this Summer are our famous Jousting Knights, returning to the Castle grounds from 22 July – 3 September. As part of the international joust, watch as the competing Knights battle to become the reigning champion in this most noble of historic sports. The bravery, skill and agility of the jousters will be tested to the limit as crowds bear witness to their dazzling show packed with incredible equestrian prowess and pageantry.
Watch Warwick Castle’s troop of magnificent jousters twice daily during the Summer season at 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
For our younger prince and princess, make sure to take time out of your busy day at the Castle to compete in our Summer Mediaeval Games. With 5 different games stations around the grounds, we have put a Mediaevel twist compared to the other Games you will be seeing this summer! Take part in Maggie's Market Dash, Ratty's Rodent Challenge, Trebuchet Bowls, Dragon Slayers Joust Relay and Where's the Warrior? and receive an unbelievable prize for all those that successfully complete all challenges put before them.
