This Starry Night with the St. James's Singers

This Starry Night with the St. James's Singers

A celebration of Christmas with music and readings.

We are delighted to announce that our reader for this year is Andrew Wincott.
Andrew is perhaps best known as the voice of Adam Macy in the long running radio series, The Archers.  He has performed many radio parts including Simon inClare in the Community, Newland Archer in The Age of Innocence and Steerforth in David Copperfield.  In theatre, he has performed Shakespeare, Shaw, Shaffer and Molière in UK repertory theatres.
He's been a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, has created voices for countless computer games and has recorded over 100 audiobooks.

Readings will include some inspiring poetry together with prose to capture the spirit of Christmas and to bring a smile to all.
The music will include a blend of familiar and less well known carols, including several favourites for the audience to join in.
The choir’s pieces include haunting works by Francis Poulenc and Morten Lauridsen as well as pieces by Handel and Walton.

Tickets are priced at £15.00 and £10.00 and can be purchased either by responding to this message or by calling the box office on 07502 939498.  Please note that any tickets bought on the door will be for unreserved seats
